Welcome to Homestead Farm.
HISTORY: Homestead Farm started in 2005 as a personal veggie garden on our 1/2 acre suburban lot just north of Thomasville, GA. As we began our journey of living simply we decided growing some of our own food as naturally as we could was a must. Our first garden was 10' x 20'. We grew some corn, tomatoes and a few herbs in pots. It was low maintenance being so small and we let nature do a lot of the work for us. We didn't use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The fresh tomatoes and corn whet our appetites for more. It's been a wonderful journey to get to this point and we look forward to all the adventures yet to come.
DETAILS: We are Holly and Jason. Our Farm is located about 3 miles east of Thomasville, GA. Homestead Farm is a small family farm that grows produce and herbs without the help of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Our goal here is to work in tune with nature to provide naturally grown foods for ourselves, our family and our customers. We sell direct to the public from our farm or through our booth at the Thomasville Green Market. We'll also be working with some local businesses to supply their naturally grown produce and herbs.
